R+S CEO RALPH BURKHARDT IN DIALOGUE WITH FULDA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

The skilled manual trades lack specialists and managers. This is why R+S Group AG has focused on the qualified and academic training of junior staff at an early stage with its in-house training academy. For CEO Ralph Burkhardt it’s a matter to be tackled from the top. He and Dr Wolfgang Dippel therefore have been in discussion with Fulda University of Applied Sciences. “Our goal is to intensify cooperation with the university and the individual departments so that a win-win situation arises for both sides,” says Burkhardt, with the declared goal of establishing a medium-term course of study focusing on building technology. In dialogue with President Prof. Dr. Karim Khakzar and Vice President Prof. Dr. Steven Lambeck, topics such as dual courses of study and placements have been discussed in more detail. A continuation of the discussions is already planned.
