R+S GROUP AG ONCE AGAIN MAIN SPONSOR OF SG BAROCKSTADT FULDA-LEHNERZ IN 2019/2020

R+S Group AG, based in Fulda, will remain the main sponsor and shirt sponsor of SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz for another year. “We are extending our commitment for the 2019/2020 season and are looking forward to some great matches in front of good crowds”, says CEO Ralph Burkhardt. The Group has been supporting top football in the cathedral city since 2013, initially with Borussia Fulda and since the merger with TSV Lehnerz in 2018 with the SG Barockstadt.
“Our roots lie in Fulda. With this sponsorship, we want to promote local football and give something back to the region”, Burkhardt emphasises, because supporting the local community – and sport is included in that – is part of R+S’s corporate philosophy.
The cooperation goes far beyond financial support. “We are committed to SG Barockstadt and, despite the mixed 2018/2019 season, we are supporting the project for another year,” emphasises the R+S boss, who is calling on the team to finish well up the table this coming season.
“The R+S Group is an important and, above all, reliable partner for our project”, says Martin Geisendörfer, member of the SGB board and explains: “The contract extension is a sign of confidence in our work”. And Peter Enders, member of the Management Board, is also happy. “We are happy and grateful that Ralph Burkhardt and his team from the R+S Group are backing our club and look forward to further good cooperation.
